FloodShirt.com The Goal is to Raise Over $20,000 in 2 Months. 100% of Proceeds will be Donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and The University of Iowa Flood Relief Fund. We, like most Americans, were shocked by the flooding throughout the midwest this summer. The destruction of Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Iowa City hit close to home. Moved by the desire to support the communities affected, we formed floodshirt.com. This is a joint venture between row27 Studios, owned by Cedar Rapids natives and Minneapolis residents, Jon Dusing and Jason Cole, and Ironside Apparel, owned by Cedar Rapids native and University of Iowa alumni Mark Ironside. We wanted to ensure people throughout the country can help with the recovery efforts and show their support for those affected. Depending on shipping costs to your location, 10-12 dollars from each shirt will go to The University of Iowa Flood Relief Fund and/or to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. We are donating 100% of the proceeds from this effort. The goal is to raise $20,000 by September 1st. You are encouraged to forward this site to your friends and colleagues and we ask you to submit your stories and photos from the flood to stories@floodshirt.com.
